Yes No Make sure you have the resolution set properly. Change the resolution to P or the recommended resolution. Try to press the power button. Displaying a still image for a prolonged time may cause damage to the screen, resulting in the retention of the image. To extend the lifetime of the monitor, use a screensaver. Make sure your screen resolution is set properly and that your color is set to 24 bit true color.
On Windows PCs, right-click an open area on the desktop, then choose Screen resolution you may need to enter advanced settings to change the color property. Make sure the video cable is securely connected. Unplug the video cable, then plug it firmly back in to be sure. Make sure the graphics card is securely inserted into the PC. If you have experience installing internal PC components, remove the video card and reseat it.
Update your graphics card drivers. Try using a different video cable. This occurs when signals transferred from the PC graphics card are out of the horizontal or vertical frequency range of the monitor. Check your product manual for the specific frequencies. There is no signal to the monitor. Make sure the computer is turned on. If using multiple displays such as a laptop screen , make sure the computer has multiple displays enabled.
Make sure the cables are securely connected, both on the monitor and on the PC. Try a different cable. Try to hook the monitor to a different computer, or try to hook a different monitor to this computer.
Move the mouse or press a button on the PC to exit Sleep Mode. Some PCs may take longer to exit Sleep Mode than others. If using multiple displays in extended desktop mode, the background color may be set to solid black. Try to move your mouse off of each side of the screen. If the mouse leaves the sceen no longer visible on the main display , but is not shown on the monitor, there may be a monitor issue. Check if the graphics card's resolution or frequency is within the range allowed by the monitor and set it to the recommended optimal resolution.
On Windows PCs, right-click an empty area on the desktop and choose Screen resolution. Not setting the graphics card to the recommended optimal resolution may result in blurred text, a dimmed screen, a truncated display area, misalignment of the display, or no display at all. The setting methods may be different depending on the computer or operating system, and some resolutions may not be available depending on the performance of the graphics card. If this is the case, contact the manufacturer of the computer or graphics card for assistance.
If the resolution cannot be displayed, contact the manufacturer of your graphics card. Is the sound distorted or not playing at all? Distorted No Audio Are you using headphones or built-in monitor speakers? Is the sound distorted through those as well? Do you hear audio? Yes No Try the headphones in a different device. Do you hear audio from the other device?
